A recipe pack containing all the ingredients to make a clone, all grain or Malt Extract version of Greene King Abbot Ale.

The pack contains:
Crushed Maris Otter Pale Malt
Crushed Crystal Malt
Crushed Amber Malt
Challenger Hops and First Gold Hops - Primary Boil Hops
Fuggles Hops - Late Boil Hops
Irish Moss
Muntons Gold Brewing Yeast
Instructions for use
There are two bags of grain. One pack contains 3.0kgs of crushed Maris Otter Pale Malt, whilst the Crystal Malt and Amber Malt used for colouring and flavouring is premixed into the smaller of the two packs, together with the remainder of the Maris Otter grain. These two packs will need to be mashed in an appropriate mash tun with a minimum capacity of 20litres.
Challenger Hops and First Gold Hops are supplied as the main bittering hops and should be added at the start of the boil, whilst the secondary, aroma hop is and Fuggles Hops, which is added as a post boil hop. I have added sufficient hops to produce and EBU of approximately 34
Sufficient Irish Moss is provided to create the Hot Break precipitation of the proteins and help produce a clearer finished beer.
