Named after a sailing barge that used to be common on Norfolk's rivers and coastal ports, this kit produces 40 pints of amber coloured beer that have a long lasting bitter taste and a distinct hoppy aroma, with an average ABV of 4.5%
We like this beer so much that there is usually a barrel available for tasting in the shop.
As one of our best selling products, we are pleased to offer this Premium Quality Ale for only £19.99 rather than the RRP of £22.49, which means you can enjoy this superb beer for less than 50p per pint.

"I decided that I wanted a little variation on 40 pints of the standard Wherry so, as this is my first kit in 20+ years, I made some changes. I made one of the two cans as 16 pint kit and one as 20 pints. I used tesco value water and split the yeast between the 2 brewing buckets and bottled the resulting brews.
Made as 20 pints - Bit on the hoppy side for me:
Quality: Good - 4/5 Price: About Right - 4/5
Value: Good - 5/5 Buy Again? Probably - 4/5
Made as 16 pints - A bit sweeter and in the direction of a Barley Wine:
Quality: Excellent - 5/5 Price: About Right - 4/5
Value: Good - 4/5 Buy Again? Definitely - 5/5

"This two can kit need no additional sugar and is easy to make. It ferments quickly, clears rapidly and produces a rich malty, smooth beer that is very more-ish. Wherry is known for having a tendency to occasionally produce cloudy beers, but I had no problems with it."
Quality: Excellent - 5/5 Price: About Right - 4/5
