A rigid bucket clip is attached to the rim of your brewing bin or fermenter and holds your syphon in place when transfering beer and wine from teh primary fermentation vessel to a barrel or bottles.
Start with your syphon a few inches below the liquid level and as the level drops gently feed more of the tube into the liquid towards the base of the fermenter. Using these clips stops you from disturbing the sediment and thus ensures cleaner results in your bottles or barrel.
This clip is designed to work best when used with ¼" bore tubing. It will hold the standard 5/16" we generally supply, but it doesn't slide easily to allow level adjustment. The ½" bore tubing supplied with the Superfast Syphon will not work at all with this clip.
Please note: If used with the 18" rigid syphon tube, it will only hold the tube against the side of the barrel and not allow you to gradually lower the tube as the level drops. This is because the diameter of the rigid tube is too small to be held firmly by the clip. Our alternative "Bucket Clip" should be used with the rigid tube.
