This premium quality, hand held, battery operated digital thermometer is ideal for use in ALL processes involved in Beer and Winemaking.
It has a working range of -50°C to 200°C in 0.1°C intervals, and can be changed to read in Fahrenheit to make it easier to work with recipes from older brewing books or ones from America. (Oddly, the box has a different working range of -49.9°C to 149.9°C to the one printed on the thermometer casing which states the 200°C upper limit.)
It features a HOLD facility which allows you to temporarily "freeze" the display to make it easier to take a reading.
It is also possible to set a Hi and Low temperature limit to be monitored. If either limit is exceeded, an audible alarm will sound.
The thermometer is supplied with an AAA size 1.5V battery, a 1m long lead, a foldaway stand and belt clip and a probe cover to stop you poking yourself with the sharp point.
