Crushed Caramunch Malt, which is also known as "Caramel Malt", is used in small quantities in all grain and partial mash brewing to add colour and flavour to Lagers and Belgian Style ales. It helps to produce a fuller, more rounded flavour and increases malt aroma.
This convenient size is normally sufficient on its own to satisfy your recipe requirements for 1-2 brews as most recipes containing crushed Caramunch Malt only tend to need 250-500gms per 5 gallon/ 23 ltr batch, and never as more than 10% of the overall grain bill.
