Recipe Kits for "Clone" beers - Colchester Homebrew Supplies

Moving on from kit brewing allows you to take greater control of the style and flavours of your beer. Many brewers eventually want to try malt extract or all grain brewing so as to try and match their favourite commercial beers. There are several great books available that provide detailed brewing instructions for both methods of brewing and also provide recipes for producing "clone beers" based on well known styles.

Our kits are made up in accordance with the recipes listed in Graham Wheeler's book, "Brew Your Own British Real Ale" and provide all the ingredients you need to get under way. You will of course still require a boiler, a fermentation bin and a mash tun to make these All Grain Recipe Kits, and the appropriate water treatments if you wish to treat your tap water rather than using filtered or bottled water.

You can view the procedures in each style of brewing elsewhere on our site, by following this link to the appropriate page All Grain .

Please be aware that these kits require A LOT of additional (ie expensive) equipment to allow you to make them and they should not be purchased unless you are certain that the brewer has this equipment.
