This is a true bottom fermenting yeast from Berlin for producing up to 5 gallons of authentic style German lagers and Czech Pilsners. The sachet can be sprinkled onto the surface of the wort during the initial transfer to the fermenter or can be rehydrated and pitched as a liquid.

It has a high attenuation rate, is tolerant to around 9% ABV and flocculates well to produce very clear beers with fruity and estery flavour. It is best used at 12-18°C, but can be used up to 20°C
