Spanish "Rioja" wines, whilst mainly based on the Tempranillo and Grenache grape varieties, can contain up to 12 different grapes and typically produce rich full bodied, fruity, often heavily oaked wines. The Beaverdale "Rioja" Style, Rojo Tinto Red Wine kit produces a dry, full bodied but lightly oaked wine that ages exceptionally well.
This wine kit, which is designed to be similar in style to a "Rioja", comes with approximately 7.5ltrs of pure red grape juice concentrate which is diluted to 23ltrs before fermentation to make 30 bottles of wine in 15-20 days. After clearing and degassing, the wine is normally ready for drinking in a further 7-10 days, but will improve if matured for several months in a cool place. The Beaverdale range is one of the best home wine making kits available and consistently produces quality wine.
