Some of the photographs may look a little dated, but the techniques are expertly explained and still perfectly valid. The numerous recipes show how you can make wine from seasonal ingredients month by month (though some of ingredients are a touch peculiar and I can heartily recommend avoiding the one for coffee wine) and a special section shows how you can make wine from your own grapes.
