Added to the barrel or secondary fermenter to aid clearing, Kwik Clear/Clear It fining solution consists of two different fining agents (Kieselsol and Gelatin) which are added at the rate of 1-2ml each per gallon/4.5ltrs to beer and wine.
It is fast acting and will usually drop the sediment out of solution within 24-72 hours. Once clear, your beer or wine should then be racked off the lees into a seperate, sterilised maturing vessel or bottled/barrelled as normal.
The large pack will clear up to 270 litres of homemade, beer, lager cider or wine.
The Young's "Clear It" pack has the same, two part, Kieselsol and Gelatine solutions, that were in the Ritchies "Kwik Clear" packs, but it is just packed in an Orange outer box rather than the green one that Ritchies used.
