An American hop, grown mainly in Oregon, which is actually a seedless variety of Fuggles and has a similar character. It is mild and pleasant, but produces a spicier aroma than Fuggles. It is a versatile, all purpose hop and can can be used in Pale Ale, Bitters, ESBs, Porters and Stouts and can be used as a substitute for Fuggles, Styrian Goldings and Target hops.
Its typical alpha acid levels are 4.0-6.0% depending on the harvest, so you may need to adjust the amounts used in your recipe to ensure that you match the target EBU value.
