   We received our latest batch of St Peter's Golden Ale this afternoon and have put one on to ferment. In view of the warm weather at the moment, I expect it to be ready to barrel by the beginning of next week and be ready for drinking

   We have now returned from our short break to York and Leeds and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Having booked the Travelodge rooms in mid February we are able to take advantage of several of their £19.00 per night offers and use them as an excuse to have a short break. 3. St Peter's Golden Ale now in stock

   The first stock of the St Peter's Golden Ale is now in stock. It is a two can, 36 pint homebrewing kit that is formulated to produce "a highly distinctive light golden ale" of approximately 4.7% ABV, according to Muntons.

5. Easter Closing

   With so many Bank Holidays coming up in the next few weeks, we have decided to close for Easter and remain open on most of the others. Sam and I are taking the girls to York to visit the Jorvik Centre, the Minster and the National Railway Museum and then on to Leeds to visit the National Mining Museum near Wakefield. We will be closed from Friday 22nd April until Tuesday 26th April.
