I first tasted Courage Directors Ale in 1990 in the North Yorks Moors and have been a fan ever since, even when it has changed hands and is no longer brewed by Courage. I've tried several different versions of clone recipes in an attempt to find one that more closely matches the original version. We have recently been advised by our supplier that Wyeast have begun to phase out the "Propogator" packs (Smack Packs) of their liquid yeasts and replace them with the larger "Activator" packs.
We have had a delivery of the limited edition Samsons Bah Humbug Christmas Stout.
We only have 6 of them available and Ritchies advise there are no more of the 500 they originally ordered left in their stock, so hurry up and get them while they last:
Ritchies have announced the release of a special edition Christmas Ale to add to the Samsons range of beer kits. "Bah Humbug" is a 40 pint Christmas Stout made with 1kg of sugar. Only 500 of these kits are being produced and we are only likely to have a limited allocation when we put in our next order
